Because we don’t waste time talking techie-speak to you over the counter or traveling to and from our customers on the clogged up roads. We keep our costs down by saving on time, fuel and traffic jams. You only pay for the time we spend connected to your PC and for our technical expertise.

Is it Safe & Secure?

Yes it is highly secure. We use a third party application program called Instant HouseCall to communicate with your PC. Access to your PC is by invitation only, so nobody can access your computer without your permission. Once a session is finished, all connections are closed. New invitations need to be issued for all future sessions. Instant Housecall uses SSLv3, the same encryption used for online banking. Your personal information is always kept safe. Instant Housecall does not sell or rent your personal information to mailing lists. Our software does not contain any adware or spyware. Your contact information is shared with your Specialists so they can provide the best possible service, but it isn't made publicly available. Why Hassle-free?

Can you remember what your last visit to the out of town PC Superstore was like? Did you feel happy and content when you left? Remember the queues? And the trouble you had parking? And how much it all cost? Remember all the dangling cables when you had to take your PC in the car to the store so they could health check it? We don’t hassle you for marketing information and will never use your personal details for anything other than connection to your PC to fix it. Can I trust you?

How do you know you can trust the PC shop down the road? At the end of the day, when a PC goes wrong you must trust someone to fix it properly. Our company is run by highly qualified computer professionals who take the issues of data security and privacy very seriously. We are not just an anonymous, invisible hacker surfing the Internet looking for an opportunity. We have a website, email address, free telephone number, mobile number and an address. The issues of trust and security are always paramount in our minds when we connect to your PC. Above all, we are aware that our whole business is built upon trust.

How do I Pay?

To take advantage of our super low prices you must pay online (over the Internet) using a valid debit or credit card. We also accept PayPal. All transactions are processed in the strictest confidence and using the latest Internet security and encryption (SSLv3). We accept all major types of debit and credit card. Payment is normally requested at the start of a support session.

How do you time sessions?

A Specialist will be connected for at least the time specified in the option plan. If jobs are still running at the end of the session, time will be extended at no extra charge to allow jobs to finish normally. Every session is timed from the start of connection. Connection is made a few seconds after you have clicked the INVITE button, provided that one of our Specialists is available.

How can it be Easy (computers are never easy)?

It’s so clever and so easy you simply will not believe your eyes. If your computer catches fire or gets a hard disk crash or other mechanical failure then we can’t help you. But if it’s software trouble or operational issues we can fix it.

What if my Specialist is not available?

Instant Housecall can help, even when your Specialist is away. You can easily send a note to your Specialist and ask to be called back. Or you can ask to be referred to a delegate. Most Specialists have teams set up on the Instant Housecall network. These are people who your Specialist trusts. You can choose to automatically connect to your Specialist once they sign in. Instant Housecall will wait up to 12 hours, and automatically connect to your Specialist once they sign in. Be sure to type a detailed request in case you're away from your computer when your Specialist becomes available.

Does Instant Housecall use encryption?

Yes. Instant Housecall uses SSLv3, the same encryption used for online banking. Your personal information is always kept safe.

How do I view my session history?

On the main page, click the History tab, then View History. You can view all of your requests from previous sessions and your Specialist's notes.

How do I change Specialists?

On the main page, click the Options tab. Type the e-mail address of the Specialist you want to contact, then click Change.

I'm behind a firewall. Can I use Instant Housecall?

Yes. Instant Housecall is firewall friendly, so it works even when you're behind a corporate or personal firewall. Some software-based firewalls may ask for permission before a session starts.
